Mimy A. Bailey, Associate Attorney

Mimy is experienced in complex bicycle cases that require expertise in the areas of product liability, roadway design, government liability, and analysis of serious injuries.

Complex bicycle cases require more than an attorney who happens to ride a bike. As a cyclist, Mimy understands the unique vulnerabilities of cyclists. As an attorney, she takes a calculated approach to every case.

Mimy’s energy and tenacity are assets that serve SKWC clients well. Her ability to connect with clients on a personal level while focusing on the legal issues of their cases allows her to take a well-rounded approach to litigation.

Mimy is the chair of the Bicycle Litigation Group of the American Association for Justice, a nationwide network for trial attorneys handling bicycle cases. The Group is on the cutting edge of this area of practice as attorneys share knowledge, strategy, and experts.

A Washington native, Mimy was born on Capitol Hill and raised on Queen Anne and Mercer Island. She is a graduate of the University of Washington (B.A. in business) and Seattle University (J.D.).

Outside of the practice of law, Mimy races for Team Group Health and regularly commutes to work. Her passion for cycling and long training rides on the road give her a unique perspective on her clients’ cases.
